Along the sun-kissed shores of Cronulla Beach in Sydney’s south, stands a luxurious apartment block that exudes opulence and sophistication. Among its many notable features, one stands out in particular – a custom fabricated stainless steel awning, meticulously crafted and installed by A Class Metals in Taren Point.

Modern Aesthetic

The frame of this awning was made from stainless steel and painted in a colour selected by the customer. It features sleek lines and a contemporary design that perfectly complements the luxurious ambiance of the apartment block it serves.

Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is a type of steel that contains at least 10.5% chromium, which gives it its signature corrosion resistance. The chromium forms a thin layer of oxide on the surface of the steel, called the passive layer, which acts as a barrier against corrosion by preventing oxygen from reaching the metal beneath.

Installation

The installation process is not without its challenges. The apartment block’s location posed logistical difficulties, including limited access to the site and strict time constraints. However, the team A Class Metals’ rose to the occasion, utilizing their expertise and experience to overcome these obstacles and ensure that the awning was flawlessly installed.
